The Dark Tower and Other Stories | C S Lewis

The Dark Tower

Continuing the fictional works of C. S. Lewis, The Dark Tower and Other Stories brings together the author's short stories and unfinished writings. Among them are a comic fiction set on a space station, a reflective tale about the obsession of a blind man who regains his sight, and a story that reimagines the encounter between Menelaus and Helen of Troy.

The Dark Tower is an unfinished science fiction novel in which Dr. Ransom — the protagonist of the Space Trilogy — faces, alongside his academic colleagues, the complexities and misadventures of time travel.

Published posthumously, these writings were saved from the fire, as explained by Walter Hooper, Lewis’s friend and editor, in the book's preface. The book offers the reader a unique opportunity to learn even more about the creative mind of one of the greatest literary geniuses of the twentieth century.
